This blog is aimed as a resource for our junior doctors starting on 5th August 2015 in surgical specialities. From your feedback, I hope to make it a useful way of introducing you to our consultants, our teams, and the educational activities that take place here. I'm also using it to celebrate the surgical training successes we should all be so proud of.
By the end of July, we're all winding up for the new intake of doctors, and getting ready to say goodbye to the gang that have been with us for the past year.
Exams are a perpetual feature of postgraduate medicine and some rounds of applause are due to our outgoing doctors. Congratulations to our Core Trainees, new 'Misters' Asad Ali & Young-Seok Cho on the MRCS....
... 'Mr' Keshav Namvbiar who got his MRCS earlier this year...
... and to Mr Zu Nawaz, now FRCS (Tr & Orth) ...
I look forward to celebrating future successes as we are all aware of how tough it is to achieve these goals and work full time in the NHS.
